About

Sue Drake, Cognitive Hypnotherapist
MSc, BSc(Hons), DipCHyp, HPD, MNLP, MNCH (Reg), DipCouns.
I trained as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist with the Quest Institute whose training programme and qualification requirements are amongst the most rigorous in the country. Through Quest I was awarded a Diploma in cognitive Hypnotherapy (DipCHyp) with Distinction and certified as an NLP Master Practitioner. I was trained by Trevor Silvester, Quest Institute Director and leading author and creator of Cognitive Hypnotherapy and Wordweaving.
I have gone on to further study Advanced Ericksonian Hypnosis with Russell Potts International Trainer and President of the International Society of Hypnosis.
I am CRB checked and a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy MNCH (Reg.) and abide by their strict codes of conduct. I have attained the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD) one of the few nationally accredited hypnotherapy qualifications in the UK awarded by the NCFE National Awarding Body. I am committed to regularly updating my knowledge and skills to stay up to date with all the latest findings and methods in Hypnotherapy.
I am a member of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). Its key function is to enhance public protection by setting standards for regulation with CNHC. The CNHC ‘quality mark’ is being recognised as a hallmark of quality for the sector. The Department of Health recommends that, when seeing a hypnotherapist you consult one who is CNHC registered.
Before training as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist I worked in a busy diversity department working with London communities, in public sector management, training and recruitment, obtaining a BS.c (Hons) in Police Studies, an M.Sc. in Forensic Psychology and a Diploma in Humanistic Counselling.
Cognitive Hypnotherapy brings my skills and experience of many years of working with people together with my belief that we can all achieve the changes we want in our life. I would love to help you achieve the changes you want.
